We’re not just talking about hybrid or partially remote roles; we’re committed to offering 7-day-a-week, ‘just posted’ jobs that truly offer value to the remote marketers hunting for new opportunities.
Our core audience consists of marketing professionals who are eager to find genuinely remote jobs, globally remote or within a country , and want to stay ahead of the competition by discovering the newest roles first. In the remote job market, speed is of the essence. With a wider audience of job seekers vying for these positions, being among the first to find and apply for them is crucial.
The idea for our platform came from a frustration: many remote job boards fail to distinguish between hybrid and fully remote jobs, and they often lag in listing fresh opportunities. This results in job seekers wasting precious time and energy on checking irrelevant roles. We decided to invest in creating this board in this industry (remote+marketing) as we have been remote marketers for a long time and know the space quite well. Besides, there does not exist a board focusing on remote marketing jobs.
Our solution was to create a specialized board that caters to the unique needs of remote marketing professionals, ensuring they get access to the most relevant and up-to-date job listings.
In the current job boards industry, finding the right niche is key to success. For us, that was remote marketing. By leveraging our industry expertise, we could identify the gaps and provide a tailored solution that truly meets the needs of our audience. We also work extensively on branding and design elements, as we believe these aspects make the product feel more valuable and help build a narrative that instils confidence in our users. We use a very strong and brandable domain, remote.marketing, which helps in shaping the story behind our board.
Once we defined the problem, we turned to Job Boardly to bring our vision to life. With its robust features, including XML feed and CSV uploader functionalities, we were able to quickly aggregate jobs of interest. Additionally, we utilized the direct import feature to ensure no relevant listings were missed, providing our users with a comprehensive and functional feed. Job Boardly has been instrumental in helping us move fast and effectively, especially with its Search Page feature for programmatic SEO, which has significantly boosted our online visibility.
To gauge interest, we set up a free sign-up wall, encouraging users to leave their email to access our content. In parallel, we focused on traffic growth through SEO and AI SEO strategies, complemented by organic activity on LinkedIn. This approach allowed us to fine-tune our product before scaling, both in terms of additional offerings and pricing.
Currently, we’re validating interest and seeing encouraging results. We have approximately 50 free account creations per month, 300 unique visitors, and a strong 16.7% conversion rate from visit to sign up, with 1,200 board page views. These achievements are all organically driven through LinkedIn organic posting. Our next steps include transitioning from a free sign-up model to a lifetime paywall to see if users are willing to pay a small fee for our feed. We also plan to invest in paid ads to boost traffic. This will inform our future pricing strategies, whether monthly or yearly, as we continue to enhance and expand our offerings.
